Dunki Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan’s awaited movie Dunki is out in the cinemas today. Dunki was one of the most awaited large budget movies of Shah Rukh Khan this year.  This is the third movie of King Khan in 2023, the previous two movies Jawan and Pathaan were very successful and both made huge box office collection. Now, after the launch of Dunki, the movie already made its presence felt with first Day 1 Box Office Collection.

Movie buffs and King Khan lovers were yearning for another masterpiece from their beloved superstar this year, it was evident when people flocked in with advance booking of Dunki from a week ago. Most of the tickets for the first day show of Dunki were already sold before the movie release day. People are comparing the collection of Dunki with the latest Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal whose Day 1 box office collection was ₹60 Crores. But experts and the critics seem to have not received Dunki that well but have praised the work of the actors and the effort of the filmmaker. Analysts are expecting the Dunki Box Office collection to increase on this weekend and Christmas holidays.

Dunki is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, who has received many accolades and awards during his directorial career in the movie industry. Hirani is known for his innovative style of filmmaking and has given hit movies like Munna Bhai MBBS, PK and 3 Idiots.  Dunki is written by talented writers like Abhijat Joshi, Kanika Dhillon and Rajkumar Hirani was also an integral part of the writing team of the movie. Story Of Dunki

Dunki is a story of four friends who aspire to have a better life in London and to achieve such aspirations they choose an unusual and illegal way by taking the most infamous Donkey route to reach the UK and live their dream life. Basically, Dunki tells us an oversimplified story about the illegal immigrants and their challenges in a dramatic way. Many movie reviewers are taking a pun on Dunki and saying that Dunki is Rajkumar Hirani’s Veer-Zaara without love.

Is Dunki Worth Watching?

Dunki has received 7.5 rating in IMDB so far but critics have criticized the cinematography and storyline of the movie. Viewers can expect impeccable performance by the actors in the movie. The movie can be called a mixture of comic, serious and dramatic elements. If you are die hard fan of SRK then despite of the lose screenplay, you may still be in awe of the star studded film.
